All Coaches –
Mid-season update. Baseball & Coach Pitch.
The following will take effect-
1. Any further roster changes / additions of players AND coaches will be final as of Sunday October 4.
No further changes/additions. All players / coaches must be rostered and all fees paid.
You are urged to CHECK your rosters online and verify your rosters. (login in to your SportsPilot Family Account to view rosters) This will eliminate problems further along. Registration will notify you of known problems and you must resolve it this weekend. You should also contact registration if you know of a discrepancy.
2. Uniforms – All players are to wear a baseball uniform to include matching jerseys/caps. Jerseys MUST have permanent number affixed (not tape, not drawn, not duplicate) Jerseys / caps do not need to be exact match, but must be similar color and style. This is in effect as of Saturday October 3.
3. Barring any weather cancellations requiring extending regular season play, playoffs are tentatively scheduled for week of Nov. 2 – 7. There will be weeknight games played. Playoff is single elimination, all teams qualify (unless have 2 or more forfeits) We will not entertain requests for schedule preferences. We understand some teams may be playing in other leagues but we cannot tailor the schedules.
4. Bad behavior reports – we’ve had a few and we have dealt with them. There is a Board Member on Duty to oversee games. Please ask for assistance at concession and they will contact the on duty member. As always, keep the perspective of that, this is for the kids, have fun, enjoy and always keep control of your emotions and ask your assistants & parents/spectators to do so also. We will have a low tolerance to poor, unsportsmanlike behavior. Thank you for helping to keep this fun for the kids.
